The website of Greek Online Lessons has a threefold vision regarding online education. To help students around the world improve their Greek language proficiency, to integrate Greek cultural knowledge into all course levels, and to guide Greek language exam candidates towards their certification. This vision also guides our team in every aspect of the design of the Greek Online Lessons website. Thus, we paid special attention to the functions that will facilitate the easy selection of courses, the monitoring of the progress and the direct communication with the teachers. The web design process requires a balance between functionality and aesthetics and in this particular project the creation of an environment that supports learning. Every element, from the color schemes and the effects, to the fonts we used, were made with great care to enhance the overall learning experience.
